Highlighted in the last user testing, buttons proved difficult for users unaccustomed, or larger fingered to hit and activate.
In response, I have created a variety of buttons that will consider colour, shape, positioning, instruction and hover/active states to aid the users navigation.

The research document retrieved a source that recommended buttons that were finger tip size, i.e. 1x1cm. I have used this as the max size and worked down from here to see what size suffices, as large buttons can be a detraction in a nice design.
