I've been brainstorming and sticking all the ideas I could, down on paper.
Some were easy to think of, whereas others required a little more effort to try and recall the sorts of scenes and their elementry baddies that we are presented with in programmes / movies I love, such as Heroes, or Batman, Superman, X Men.
Of these, the three front runners currently stand as being the typewriter one for the pop up, the eyes one for page one banner and then the push the button in the panel on page3. I think this last one is a typical comic book like gag pulled by a baddy.
Now it's off to collecting materials.
