Black and white as it's best

Rob Mckeown a UK photographer achieved second place with this Snowy Sheep shot for black and white nature shots. 

I think the scene is brilliantly represented with just the two colours (or three - grey). The white depletes the shot of any warmth, a great reinforcement of the weather in the scene.
