PRP - artifact #3 - load times and images

Bearing in mind that I want to take a designed route for the third artifact, I'm considering components that are typically no-no's on mobile devices - custom fonts, and images.

Unfortunately, these all add to the data download needed to get a page to render and don't all function on the browsers. Therefore, there has to be some work for this experiment: optimization. I will be taking note of download speeds over WIFI and 3G.

Got this tutorial which should sort out my problem. If images are turned off, the links will appear and work, whereas if they are on, the site will look lovely.
